Representation and Portrayal: shows David as a warrior playing the harp. Hand carved in Maple wood and hand painted by professional artists. Made in Italy.

David was king of Israel, an excellent warrior, musician and poet. Scripture describes him as a very complex figure, who was able to be very cruel but also generous at the same time. He was also known as someone who recognized his own mistakes. David, who couldn't tolerate the offenses against his God anymore, fought against the giant Goliath and defeated him with a trick- he threw a stone with a sling in Goliath's eye and then beheaded him. King David was able to unify the Israeli population, restoring their trust.
