Symbols and Imagery: Shown as abbot with a crook, pectoral cross, and little dragon, which he apparently defeated at the gorge of Robhaupton. Hand carved in Maple wood and hand painted by professional artists. Made in Italy. Magnoald or Mang was a missionary saint in southern Germany who founded the Abbey of Füssen and became the first abbot. He is still widely venerated because of his many miracles and he was even given the title of apostle in Switzerland.

There is just very little certain information about the life of St. Magnus of Füssen, also called Magnoald or Mang. He was a missionary saint in southern Germany who founded the Abbey of Füssen and became his first abbot. He is still widely venerated because of his many miracles and he was even given the title of apostle in Switzerland.
