Saint Nepomuk Statue Models

This is a very detailed hand carved wood statue. The follow-through in detail is amazing.  Carved in Mountain Maple Wood. Saint Nepomuk or Saint Nepomucene is usually depicted with the following symbols: halo of five stars, palm, priestly dress, cross, angel indicating silence by a finger over the lips.

Patron Saint of Bohemia.

Feast Day: May 16th

John of Nepomuk or John Nepomucene (Czech: Jan Nepomuck?) (c.1345 ? March 20, 1393) is a national saint of the Czech Republic.
