Biography of St. Francis Xavier:
Francis Xavier was a Roman Catholic missionary who was born in Spain. Ignatius of Loyola was his teacher and the co-founder of the Society of Jesus. Beyond that, he was also one of the first seven Jesuits at Montmartre. He has great influence in evangelizing and spreading Christianity in Asia, especially in India, Japan and Borneo and other areas where no missionary had ever been stationed. Throughout his missionary travels, he encountered many difficulties, such as learning the local languages. Francis' goal was to reach China.
