Francis was a missionary who was born in Spain. Francis was one of the first seven Jesuits at Montmartre. He was very influential in evangelizing and spreading Christianity in Asia, India, Japan and Borneo. Throughout his missionary travels, he encountered many difficulties, such as learning other languages. One of his goals was to reach China and evangelize there.
