This statue was carved and painted by Demi Art artists. This statue represents Saint Pio of Pietrelcina. He is also known as Saint Padre Pio or Padre Pio. He was very famous for his stigmata. He was canonized by Pope John Paul II.

The statue, skillfully carved and painted, represents the Saint Pio of Pietrelcina (1887-1968), also known as Saint Padre Pio, or simply Padre Pio. He became famous for his stigmata. On 16 June 2002, he was canonized by Pope John Paul II.
