This is a wonderful hand carved and hand painted PEMA Nativity Joseph figurine.

Pema, the renowned sculpture company based in Val Gardena, has been creating exquisite wooden sculptures for over half a century, since 1969, passing down this treasured artistry through generations. Over the years, this traditional South Tyrolean company has gained international acclaim and is highly esteemed among collectors of sacred sculptures. Among their impressive collection, the modern Pema nativity stands out, featuring various figures expertly carved in a harmonious blend of contemporary and alpine styles. With their modern and lovely depiction, the figures quickly became popular, also thanks to their simple and sturdy design which makes them suitable as a nativity set for children. Each figure of this nativity is skillfully crafted from high-quality ash wood, showcasing the natural wood grain. The series comprises around seventy distinctive figures, available in a natural version or carefully hand-painted with watercolors. The nativity is offered in various sizes, ranging from 3 to 18 inches, making it perfectly adaptable to any space.

Because our statues are hand made and painted in Italy by Italian artists, we custom import your statue from Italy for you.  We generally have weekly bulk shipments of statue orders being sent from Italy.  Once you order a statue you can generally expect it to arrive in about 3 weeks, allowing for international and domestic shipping times.
