St. Aloysius was born in a little town in Italy and his first words were the holy names of Jesus and Mary. His father insisted that Aloysius should join the military, but the latter had already decided at the age of nine year that he would commit himself to a religious life. In order to not be lead in temptation, he always stared at the ground in presence of woman. At the age of 18, he became a Jesuit and began teaching catechism to the poor. During the plague in 1587, he served in a hospital in Milan but unfortunately died at the age of 23 of plague.
