Biography of St. Clarus of Vienne:
Clarus was born in the Dauphine region in France. He became a monk at St. Ferreol Abbey and was later transferred to St. Blandina Convent, of which he became spiritual director. Later on in 620, he was consecrated Abbot of the St. Marcellus monastery at Vienne (FR) and spent his last years of life there until his death in 660.

Patronage: St. Clarus is patron saint of tailors and against eye diseases.
