Patron Saint of doctors and the sick

St Camillus was a gambler who fought against the Turks. He became a Capuchin novice. He began to care for the sick and became the director of the St. Giacomo Hospital in Rome. He became a priest and foundedhis own congregation called the Ministers of the Sick. He retired because of health issues. Canonized in 1746, died in 1607.
