Biography of St. Hubert:
Hubert was a married courtier who served Pepin of Heristal in France. Apparently, he often had a vision while hunting: He saw a crucifix between the antlers of a stag. After the passing away of his wife, he entered the Stavelot Monastery in Belgium and was ordained by the bishop St. Lambert. After St. Lambert's death, Hubert became his successor. St. Hubert became famous for his miracles and for having great influence on the evangelization of many. He died at Tervueren (Belgium) in 727.
