When did Bl. Imelda live: 1321- 1333
Biography:
Imelda was born in 1321 as the daughter of a family of Counts named Lambertini. Already as a child, she was brought to the Dominican Convent of St. Mary Magdalene in valley of Pietra. According to the legend, she was not allowed to receive the Eucharist due to her young age. But miraculously, she received the longed host anyways and died immediately after in 1333. Imelda's relicts are in the church of St. Sigismund in Bologna.
