St. Isidor was born into a poor family and had to work hard as a farmer to survive. He worked the field with diligence and hard hours which provided plenty of fruit. The fact that he sacrificed his free time to God made for envious colleagues and who later accused him of absenteeism. St. Isidor and his wife Maria believed in the same ideals: Hard work, dedication to the Lord, and Generosity.
