St Juliane was a virgin and a martyr. She was born in Nicomedia, Turkey around 285 AD. Juliane refused to marry a pagan by the name of Eleusius. She refused to marry him because he was not Christian.
Her fiancé denounced her to be a Christian and so she was imprisoned. In prison a demon visited her and tried to convince her to sacrifice to the pagan gods, but St. Juliane overcame all temptations. St. Juliane was condemned to death and decapitated around 303 AD.
