Biography:
Laura was born in the ninth century in Cordoba (Spain). She was a Christian during the Muslim regime in Spain and became a nun at Cuteclara after the passing away of her husband. Eventually, she was named abbess. Unfortunately, she was captured by Muslims who martyred her by throwing her in a vat of boiling lead.
