Biography of St. Magdalen:
Mary Magdalen of Magdale, St. Magdalen, is the protagonist of several episodes in the Gospels. St. Magdalen was witness of Jesus' crucifixion and his deposition of the cross, she also was one of the three women who went to the sepulchre on Sunday morning to tallow the body of Christ. The women saw the empty sepulchre and immediately Magdalen ran to the apostles to tell them what she had seen.
Sometimes Mary Magdalen is identified as the prostitute that went to the house of Simon to ask Jesus' forgiveness. St. Magdalen wept at his feet, then she wiped Jesus' feet dry with her long beautiful hair, kissed them and anointed them with expensive perfume.
