Biography of St. Margareth:
St. Margareth of Antioch, also known as Marina, was the daughter of a pagan priest. She was converted to Christianity and at the age of fourteen, while she was tending sheep, the prefect Olybrius saw her. Infatuated with St. Margareth's beauty he charged her with beeing a Christian. St. Margareth was tortured and according to the legend she met a dragon while she was in prison. The dragon swallowed her, but the cross she carried in her hands irritated the dragon's coat so that he disgorged her. Eventually St. Margareth was beheaded.
