Saint Moses Figurine Models
Representation and portrayal: shown as a prophet with the Tablets of the Law. Hand carved in Maple wood and hand painted by professional artists. Made in Italy. According to the bible, Moses was born in Lower Egypt to a poor family which hid him due to the order of the Pharaoh, to kill all newborn Jewish boys. Moses was adopted by a royal Egyptian family who found him in a basket in a river. After murdering an Egyptian slave master, Moses fled to Midan where God spoke to him in the form of a burning bush and ordered that Moses go back to Egypt to request the release of the Israelites. After the Ten Plagues, Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt and split the Red Sea. He received the Ten Commandments on Mount Sinai and died after 40 years of wandering in the desert.
