When did St. Patricia of Naples live: in the seventh century
Biography:
St. Patricia was born in in Constantinople to a noble family which may have been related to the Roman Emperor. She decided to flee to Italy in order to escape marriage and became a virgin consecrated to God in Rome. During a visit to her hometown due to the death of her father, she distributed all her belongings to the poor and then went back to Naples, Italy, where she died soon after from disease in 665AD. The monastery of Santa Patrizia preserves her blood which is said to liquify periodically.
