Patron Saint of Naples
St. Patricia was born in in Constantinople to a noble family which may have been related to the Roman Emperor. She fled to Italy to escape a marriage and began a virgin consecrated to God in Rome. During a visit to her hometown due to the death of her father, she distributed all her belongings to the poor and then went back to Naples, Italy, where she died soon after from disease in 665AD. The monastery of Santa Patrizia preserves her blood which is said to liquify periodically.
