Biography of St. Quirinus:
St. Quirinus was a Roman tribune who lived during the Emperor Trajan. He converted to Catholicism after having seen the miracles done by martyrs Alexander, Theodule and Evenzio, who were assigned him. After his baptism, St. Quirinus suffered the martyrdom. His body was transferred in Neuss. From this place his cult spread into Germany, Belgium and Italy.
