Not much is known about St Regina's life. She was known to be a virgin who was born in Alise in Gaul. Her mother did not survive the birth and died shortly after she was born. St. Regina was raised by a foster mother who raised her up with Christian values and morals. She had her baptized.
St. Regina's father Clement, a convinced pagan and a considerable man, imprisoned Regina because of her faith in Jesus. Finally St. Regina was beheaded near to Autun in the third century. Her relics are kept in France in Flavigny-sur-Ozerain.
