Biography of St. Sophia:
The legend tells that St. Sophia was a widow from Milan. She went to Rome where many Christians were persecuted, because she wanted to suffer and die for Christ. According to tradition St. Sophia had three daughters named Pistis, Elpis and Agape. This names of Greek origin mean "faith", "hope" and "charity".
